1.    How many schools do you have in Hyderabad?

Ans. We have 2 schools, one each at Vikrampuri and Jubilee Hills. These are our city campuses. We have our main schools coming up in Gachibowli and Kompally.

2.    Infrastructure and facilities:

A.    How big is the school, in terms of space and rooms?

C.    What is the standard of the school?

Ans. The city campuses have spacious and well ventilated rooms. There are activities rooms as well, where we have provision for various indoor games like scrabble, carrom, chess, etc. There is provision for Basket Ball and Table Tennis at the school.

There is a decent sized play area which is sufficient for children of the age group 5-10 yrs. The swing see-saw, merry-go-round, etc. are all in place for the young kids to have a fun time during recess.

The place near Kompally is on 4 acres of land. The architectural design has been finalized. The infrastructure will be state of the art and the school would have well ventilated rooms with ample play area. The Gachibowli School is being planned on similar lines.

3.    What extracurricular activities do you have?

Ans. A number of extracurricular activities are conducted after school. To name a few : Music and dance classes, Martial arts classes, Drawing classes, Debates and dramatics club, Table tennis, Team games, etc. At the main campuses there are provisions for Basket ball courts, Tennis courts, Football ground, Cricket net practice, skating arena, Swimming Pool, etc.

4.    What is the U.S.P. of the school?

Ans. The school comes from the house of T.I.M.E., the institute that is ranked no. 1 in the nation for its matchless results in various entrance exams. We have been able to deliver such a brilliant performance because of - quality education backed by carefully chosen teachers, individual care and attention. We are confident of recreating similar standards of excellence in the domain of schools as well.

5.    Why should I put my child in you school?

Ans. Most of the schools that we hear about these days talk of air conditioners, power point presentations, and digital class rooms. In all this jazz, somewhere the true meaning of educating the child takes a back seat. Yes a child enjoys seeing animations digital content and animations but learning happens only when he sows a seed and sees it grow or when he makes terraces with mud to see how the speed of water slows down and cultivation is made possible in the hills. Yes, we integrate most of the modern technologies in our pedagogy, but T.I.M.E. School is about much more. It is about traditional values, strong academic foundation ensured by true hands on approach to make your child a winner in all walks of life.

6.    How many children do you have in a class?

Ans. We are not looking for a phenomenal number. We abide by CBSE guidelines and take children of those few parents who are looking for a good education in true sense and share our philosophy of superiority of hands-on-approach over spoon feeding from the text book. At Jubilee Hills and Vikrampuri we are going to close admissions on reaching a count of 25 students per class.

7.    What is the teacher - child ratio?

Ans. At T.I.M.E. School we ensure that the teacher student ratio is one that ensures adequate interaction between the teacher and the child as well as provides for sufficient individual attention. We are planning to close our admissions at 25 students per class this year.

8.    When does the academic year begin every year?

Ans. The academic year begins in April, every year. The admission season starts in first week of November.

9.    When was the T.I.M.E. School started?

Ans. T.I.M.E. School was started in May, 2010.

10. Do you take any donation?

Ans. We do not entertain any kind of donation.

11. Can we visit the location and see the school infrastructure?

Ans. The interested parents can meet one of the school team members from Monday to Saturday between 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. However, if they would like to visit on Sunday or at any time before 8:30 a.m. or after 4:00 p.m. from Monday to Saturday, they can intimate the school well before hand so that we can ensure that someone is there to assist them. We would be more than pleased in coming to your work place / residence for giving you more details about the school.

12. What is the teaching methodology?

Ans. Like at T.I.M.E. Kids, our philosophy is to foster an environment where the child not only learns, but enjoys learning. We try to relate everything with practical world and a hands-on approach rather than merely introducing a concept directly from the text book. While the emphasis is on the academics, extracurricular activities and sports are an integral part of the curriculum.

13. How many books is the child supposed to carry every day?

Ans. The number of books that a child carries to school depends upon:

a)     Class

b)     Kind of books that are selected

c)     Time table.

Note books and work books are kept at school unless required for home assignment, to decrease the unnecessary load on school bags.

14. Are the teachers trained? What about their qualifications and experience?

Ans. Teachers at T.I.M.E. School are adequately trained and experienced. While we ensure that all teachers meet the required qualifications as enlisted by CBSE, what we value at T.I.M.E. School is a nurturing approach and inherent love towards children and education.

15. What is the policy on children who fail in the finals?

Ans. At T.I.M.E. School we ensure that learning is fun. There are periodic assessments for students and individual mentoring to make sure that the child reaches benchmark levels for his / her age or class.

16. Is there an in-house counselor?

Ans. We have a counselor who comes in once a week and is regularly in touch with all the teachers.

17. Is it a five day or six day week for the students?

Ans. We follow the five day week schedule.

18. Is there a uniform? If yes, then where can we buy it from?

Ans. We have a regular uniform as well as sports uniform. The samples are available at the school in different sizes. Parents may place the order at the school.

19. Is the fee payable term wise?

Ans. Fee can be paid on lump sum or term basis.

20. What about the after school hobby classes / club etc.?

Ans. These classes would be started depending on the demand / number. (These should not be confused with creche / after school creche / tutorial).

21. What is the participation ratio of children in Annual day / Sports day?

Ans. It is 100%. We encourage everyone to participate in these two most important events.

22. Is the school planning to provide snacks / lunch?

Ans. We encourage children to bring healthy food with them, something that they would enjoy eating. We are also thinking along the lines of providing lunch facilities at our Kompally and Gachibowli campuses.

23. What is the school's policy on both verbal and corporal punishment?

Ans. We strongly dissuade punishment. At T.I.M.E. School we aim to nourish the natural desire of children to explore new thing. We catalyze the process of learning by discovery, by appropriately guiding the child. Simultaneously, we make the students realize the importance of discipline as a way of life.

24. Do you have air conditioners in the class rooms?

Ans. Yes, the Jubilee Hills branch is fully air conditioned. There are air conditioners in a few class rooms in Vikrampuri campus, because it is naturally surrounded by trees.

25. Will the fee change when I shift my child to the main campuses?

Ans. It would be a seam less shift. There would the general nominal increase, which would not be attributed to the change in premises. The transportation facility will also be continued, and adjusted accordingly.

26. Do you provide transportation facility?

Ans. Door-to-door pick up and drop transportation facility (provided there is a motor able road in front of the residence) is provided. We also ensure that a lady attendant is always there in the vehicle for the safety of your child. The transportation fee depends upon the no. of kilometers for which the facility is availed.

27. My house is too far from the school and my child is too young, how can I send him / her to such a distant place?

Ans. We believe that a journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step. At T.I.M.E. School, we see that the child not only learns in classrooms but also from surroundings and through practical exposure. If the child will get a quality education which is very essential in shaping his / her future, then the distance can be compromised.  Moreover we have door-to-door pick up and drop transportation facility with the lady attendant in vehicle for the safety of your child.
